Wow! Our first day of Virtual Learning from home went well. I hope you enjoyed teaching your student today. There is nothing like spending quality time with your student. Our teachers and admin are here to answer questions as needed. Teachers will post assignments by 9am daily. If you need help reach out to your child’s teacher. Our counselors are also available to you.
Family Extending Learning Activity: (see attachment)
Vision Board-create a visualization of where you see your family in 5 or 10 years. Use pictures from magazines, newspapers, photos, personal drawings, etc. What do you want for your family? What will it take to get there? Have fun sharing your dreams and aspirations with your student.
Here is the information I know thus far regarding school:
District is looking for ways to support families with food distribution.
Atlanta Food Bank will be available at Norton Park on Thursday, March 26. I will give a time closer to the date.
A letter will be sent to 4th and 5th grade parents and sponsors regarding trips and refunds. I will post the letter tomorrow on the school website.
Please hug my student(s) and let them know we miss them! I miss seeing so many smiling faces and hugs everyday.
